Nintendo On The BBC
Nintendo On The BBC
A British show, Outrageous Fortunes, which airs on BBC 3, has taken a look at the "shady side" of Nintendo. While it is clearly biased against Nintendo, it is a great in-depth look at the company. Best of all, the show can be viewed free via Google Video [Beta]. Unfortunately, the quality is not that good.
The program features an interview with Nintendo celebrity Shigeru Miyamoto, as well as talk of Nintendo's former President Hiroshi Yamauchi, who is described as a ruthless businessman who has a "yes/no" attitude in decision making. The program also features a visit to Nintendo of America in Redmond, Washington and a chat with former Nintendo Vice President Howard Lincoln. In a visit to Hawaii, there is an interview with Minoru Arakawa and his wife Yoko, who is the daughter of Hiroshi Yamauchi.
