Nintendo Releases The Minish Cap
Nintendo Releases The Minish Cap
Nintendo of America has finally released the latest adventure in the Zelda kingdom - The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap for the Game Boy Advance.
The title, this time, sees Link searching for Kinstones as opposed to Triforce Pieces and sees one of Nintendo's most famous mascots using the Minish Cap to shrink in size to that of the Minish people.
Following the traditional format of previous Zelda games, the Minish Cap is an "action/RPG-lite adventure" and the game has a similar style to that of its big brother, The Windwaker on the GameCube, but obviously in 2D as opposed to a sprawling 3D engine.
Nintendo's own press release adds that you can:
Draw your sword and brace yourself for battles with new enemies. The sorcerer, Vaati, has turned Princess Zelda(TM) to stone. Left with no choice, the king of Hyrule sends Link on the quest of a lifetime. With the power of a mystical hat called the Minish Cap, Link shrinks to the size of the tiny Minish people, splits himself into multiple Links and battle enormous enemies.
The thrills are abundant in The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. Tying the The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures into The Legend of Zelda mythology, this adventure takes players deep into Zelda history. Solve puzzles and fight through dungeons as Link travels back and forth between the Minish world and his own.
Look out for our forthcoming review of the game which has received critical acclaim in Europe where surprisingly it was released earlier than in the U.S.
