Nintendo of America today announced that starting August 15th, 2004, Metroid Prime will become part of a Nintendo GameCube bundle with a special bonus disc.
The bonus disc will contain the following:

Other companies sell their systems starting at $150," says George Harrison, Nintendo of America's Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications. "No one can match Nintendo's value as we offer a Nintendo GameCube and two free discs, all at an MSRP of just $99.99."
For those of you who don't want to shell out $99.99 for the bundle, but would still like to get the bonus disc and check out Metroid Prime 2 Echoes, you arent out of luck. Nintendo will be giving away the bonus disc with 1-year subscriptions/renewals to its magazine Nintendo Power. In addition, those registered with MyNintendo at Nintendo.com will be able to obtain the bonus disc by registering a Nintendo GameCube and 5 eligible games. More details are at this site.
Metroid Prime remains one of the most adrenaline-soaked Nintendo GameCube titles of all time, with over 1 million units sold. Metroid Prime 2 Echoes, which is set for a November 15th, 2004 release, sends heroine Samus Aran to explore the dual Light and Dark sides of the split-dimension planet Aether. The tension-packed first-person adventure will feature new power-ups, a new ammo system, and special suit upgrades. In addition Metroid Prime 2 Echoes will be the first game in the Metroid franchise to feature 4-player multiplayer action.
